By removing suspended solid particles in the water (sand, mud, rust...) before it passes through the reverse osmosis process, it protects the reverse osmosis membrane from clogging and extends its lifespan. By eliminating these particles, the cartridge helps improve the efficiency and overall performance of the reverse osmosis system.
