UltraLAB 2000 is a high-performance ultrafiltration system designed to treat large volumes of water.
Its complete system combines several pretreatment stages and 6 professional-grade ultrafiltration membranes for fine and efficient filtration.
The water passes successively through a high-precision prefilter, silica and activated carbon filtration, and an ion-exchange resin water softener before being treated by the ultrafiltration membranes.
The membranes retain suspended solids, bacteria, colloids, and fine particles while preserving dissolved mineral salts. An automatic flushing system helps maintain filtration performance and minimize maintenance.
UltraLAB series can be custom-built to meet the specific requirements of each installation.

The ultrafiltration membrane acts as a physical barrier that retains suspended particles, bacteria, algae, protozoa, certain viruses, and macromolecules such as proteins and some organic matter. It does not retain small dissolved organic molecules (pesticides, solvents…) or dissolved salts. It therefore does not demineralize the water.
The granular activated carbon filter efficiently adsorbs chlorine and its by-products, volatile organic compounds (pesticides, herbicides, solvents, hydrocarbons…), as well as various organic substances responsible for bad taste and odors in the water. Thanks to its grain structure, it promotes optimal water flow and provides a large exchange surface for pollutant adsorption.
The sand filter retains solid particles suspended in the water that are larger than 25/50 microns. It mainly eliminates sand, mud, rust deposits, and other coarse impurities, thereby improving water clarity and protecting downstream equipment.
