For the past few days, the media have been highlighting the launch of Dans Mon Eau, an innovative tool that maps chemical pollutants in drinking water in France.
While tap water is generally of good quality, areas of non-compliance have been identified, particularly concerning nitrates, pesticides, and PFAS.

The map is updated roughly every month (when new open-data sets are released). There may be a delay (1–2 months) between the displayed data and the most recent analyses performed by the Regional Health Agencies (ARS). The site also indicates regulatory quality limits but specifies that the fact that a pollutant exceeds a quality limit does not necessarily mean an immediate health risk.
